LLOOP aka Rich Panciera has been working in sound studio's since he was sixteen. In 1993 he helped build Bass Mind studio in Brooklyn and was considered a top engineer at that time. His record "Bulbb's" was recorded there in '94 and released as a now classic mix cassette. It was finally released on vinyl and as a cd in 2001 by the agriculture.

In '91 his ingenious interactive sampler was the key sound element in the infamous Lalalandia Entertainment Research Corporation omnisensorial sweepout events at El Sensorium, lalalandias most legendary club. Lalalandia made many of the most memorable Brooklyn warehouse after-hours environments of that period.

In 1994, he started up We(TM). We(TM)'s '97 release "as is" can be considered a classic. We(TM) opened for the Orb that spring. Their 3rd release, "decentertainment" landed them at Barcelona's "Sonar '99".

In 2000 he co-founded Share with software designer and fellow music producer GDAM and sound artist New Clueless. Share is a weekly event that has turned into a global phenomena.

ITHIOPIA SOUND the so called everblazing vibz machine representing the sound of jamaican roots-reggae-dancehall music in austria and middle europe. After many years listening & loving the mighty Roots, Reggae and Dancehallbeats the sound was founded in 2003 by Irieman and Thalaman with the vision to make the people know the jamaican flow. 2004 the vision turned into a mission and they start to run a monthly dance called bass culture in graz city. After a while and because of the big request they soon added the weekly Thursday dance with the name irieland. Because good things never go down, after 4 years both dances still hot like fyah. After a trip to Jamaica and with more than 60 dates a year Ithiopia Sound is one of the most active sounds in Austria. With the aim to promote soundsystem-culture in original jamaican way, these two guys build a strong unit in every dance. Thalaman is fast like a ferrari in selecting the tunes the people want to hear and Irieman catch the massive with speech and make soundboy faces get bleach. With a strong link to some of the hottest Jamaican studios Ithiopia Sound is always known for a extremely dangerous Dubbox with artists like Morgan Heritage, NinjaMan, Fantan Mojah or Junior Murvin just to name a few. So don’t miss a show of Ithiopia Sound and check out their live performance in a ruff and tuff juggling style or even in a soundclash.

CULTURE ROCK was founded 1995 in Münster by Sen-c. In 1999 the selecta moved to Düsseldorf where K-Ross, Chris and Manu Rankin joined the Crew. Since this time Culturerock plays every third Saturday of the month in ZAKK. Over the years the YARD VIBES party became the biggest Reggae-Dance in town and a lot of big sounds (Killamanjaro, Sentinel, David Rodigan, …) and artist (Pinchers, Ras Shiloh, Reggie Stepper, General Trees, Cecile…) came to play there. Furthermore Culturerock is a well booked sound and played in several clubs and on festivals (Summerjam, Reggae Ruhr Summer…) all over Germany already. In 2006 Culturerock won the Universial Clash at U-Club and sent sounds like Herb-a-lize-it (Holland) and Fury Bass (France) back home. The same year Manu Rankin left the crew to start a solo career as a singer. In 2007 Nico, Herbsman and Rebel from Soulpower joined the Culturerock Crew so that the sound consists of six members right now and things are running very good in these times…

No matter if it’s in their back2back DJ sets - where they play mostly a mixture of percussive dubstep, dark garage beats, bassy minimal and reverbed dub-techno - or their own productions: EL RAKKAS' aim has always been to create an unique piece of deep and danceable music.

I like to give you some information about our new mix by the name of "Crossing Borders". During our visit to gambia in january 2009 we checked out the gambian reggae scene and were amazed about the talents in that little country! Together with the local Legal Sound we arranged some sessions at Yagana World Studios where most of the tunes for this mix were recorded! We are very proud to give a little overview of the gambian reggae scene and promote the ting all over the world! - Culture Rock
